Tell your provider if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have a history of pituitary disorders or pituitary tumors, hormone-sensitive cancers, seizure disorders, or significant cardiovascular, liver, or kidney disease, or if you are taking medications that may affect reproductive hormones.
Possible side effects may include headache, flushing, nausea, dizziness, abdominal discomfort, fatigue, and injection site reactions (redness, swelling, itching, or pain). Seek medical attention right away if you experience signs of a serious allergic reaction (hives, swelling of the face/lips/tongue, trouble breathing), severe or persistent headache, vision changes, fainting, chest pain, or other concerning symptoms.
